Läget, lugnet och atmosfären.

Lite svårtillgängligt när man behöver rollator.

Lugn och fantastik miljö för avkoppning, trevlig personal, intressant guidning i fästningen. Frukosten var bra och rummen i Officerslängan var små men charmiga. En glad överraskning var morgonrockarna på rummen och väldoftande hygienartiklar. Middagen intogs i Orangerier med lagom, låg bakgrundsmusik.

Har inget att klaga på.

Fint opphold. Engasjerende omvisning på festningen. Fin middag og frokost.

The peaceful setting was a bliss and great opportunity to recover from the stress at work. The surroundings are simply gorgeous and the sunset is amazing. The maintenance of the premises is good, in keeping with its history. Our dinners in the orangerie were wonderful, with the view of the forest, sea and the fortress on the opposite island. The staff was extremely helpful, and the guided tour of the fortress was provided in English and still very informative.

The walk from the ferry to the hotel was up the hill, neither easily understood from directions, nor from Google maps. Fortunately, the staff gave us a lift to the ferry when we departed. There was a reason other guests arrived by car. The Hilda room barely has a sea view, only if one leans over the bed inside the bay window. A lot of the view of the beautiful surroundings was blocked by the party tent.
