Barceló Margaritas Royal Level Adults Only

We are currently staying at the Barcelo Margaritas Royal Level for adults only. We are pleased with the cleanliness, the rooms and the food but we are very disappointed with the entertainment, which we feel is non existent. For example Saturday night was 'Mr Barcelo' which consisted of the entertainment team and guests competing. It was infantile to say the least. We complained to the hotels assistant manager who said that they are offering a relaxing holiday and noted our complaint. We will not be booking this hotel again.

Stayed 10-14 June All Inclusive I wanted to write this review as I had read a few poor reviews before leaving & was a bit nervous about the snap decision we'd made. I can hand on heart say that, for us, there was absolutely nothing wrong with this hotel. The service was impeccable, the food & drink was excellent quality with an excellent choice & the hotel itself was tidy & well maintained. We had completed check in online as we didn't want any extra hassle after the new EES checks (which, by the way, was nowhere near as bad as we thought it was going to be - Las Palmas airport was well organised) so all we had to do was collect our wrist bands when we arrived, which took all of 5 minutes - we wouldn't even have had time to drink the glass of cava we were offered. We had booked a twin room which is what we got. The room was very spacious with a pull out sofa bed as well as twin beds, a TV that swivelled so that you could watch it from bed or the sofa if inclined, 2 wardrobes, table & chairs & a good sized bathroom with a walk in rainfall shower. The balcony was also a good size with 2 loungers & a table & chairs. We had a hairdryer, free safe & iron & ironing board plus mini fridge, a kettle & a Lavazza coffee machine (pods were replaced daily). All the usual toiletries were provided if you're travelling light as were robes, slippers & pool towels. In short, everything that you expect from Barcelo. There is an app which you can use to order drinks from your sun lounger & to book La Fuega which is the Royal Level a la carte restaurant (a BBQ restaurant with a set menu - well worth the visit if you're not veggie or vegan). The only time that I will ever say this - the app was more user friendly for Android. There is one restaurant that serves breakfast (until 11:00), lunch & dinner buffet style with waiter service for drinks. There were obviously peak times but we never struggled at breakfast or lunch & the one night it was busy for dinner, we just had another drink in the bar area. As some have commented, there is no proper indoor bar area; for evening drinks there are a few tables & comfy chairs on the decking & then a bandstand type area that is half restaurant overflow & half bar seating area. Not an issue when the weather is warm & still but I can see how it wouldn't be as pleasant in the cold, rainy or windy conditions. There are plenty of sun loungers & cabana beds around the pool & they did get taken quite quickly but, again, we never struggled to get a spot even if it wasn't a 'prime' spot. The pool itself was lovely. Yes, the paint has worn a bit thin in areas & perhaps this does make it look dirty at first glance but it was most definitely clean. It was also heated & has proper steps into it so you can just walk right in. I would love to name the few members of staff that stood out but, thanks to the very generous measures of branded spirits, I can't remember! Every member of staff we encountered was polite, helpful, happy & friendly. We usually stay at the Fuerteventura Mar due to it's convenient location near the airport however, even with the longer taxi journey (expect to pay EUR 50 each way with tip), we would not hesitate to come here again.

We had the most amazing time at this hotel. One of the highlights was the service from Andreas. They were amazing and made everything so easy which resulted in a relaxing holiday. We will be booking again for next year and hope they are here!

Séjour Magnifique. Personnel Top . Une pensée particulière pour le personnel réception (marta et Moses) et Restaurant ( Luiza et Ali) très attentionnés et agréables. Je reviendrai sans aucune hésitation.

La literie . Les lits a remplacer. Un manque de confort. par exemple ma suite junior 3718 .
