I had high hopes for my stay at Cocoons Club Laiya, but unfortunately, my experience was not what I expected. First off, the communication was confusing and frustrating. I received numerous messages leading up to my stay, but they only left me more puzzled. There was no clear indication about the construction work happening next to the hotel, which was a major issue. In the booking, they only apologized for the inconvenience, but it felt more like an afterthought rather than a genuine apology. What bothered me more was that when I arrived, I was told the construction was ongoing 24/7, even though their messages prior to my stay clearly stated it was Monday to Friday. It seems like they were not transparent about the noise and disruption, and I was misled. Additionally, the quality of the facilities was underwhelming. Half of the bathroom was out of order, which was quite inconvenient. This should have been communicated before my arrival to avoid disappointment. The food was another letdown. Considering the hotel’s beachside location, I expected fresh, healthy options, but there was a lack of natural juices or decent fruit. The quality of the food didn’t match the price, and it felt like a missed opportunity to offer better, healthier choices for guests. I believe this place has potential but was let down by dishonesty and poor communication. Cocoons Club Laiya could really improve by being upfront about what to expect and offering better food and amenities. Unfortunately, their “Sorry, Sir” didn’t feel sincere, especially when they didn’t make any real effort to resolve the issues during my stay. I hope they take this feedback to heart for future guests.

Unfortunately, my experience at Cocoons Club Laiya was disappointing and did not justify the price. Despite receiving multiple messages before my stay, I was misled about ongoing construction work next to the hotel, which was loud and disruptive 24/7, not just during weekdays as initially stated. Additionally, the bathroom had issues, with half of it being out of order. The food quality was also subpar, especially for a beachside location—there were no natural juices or decent fruit, which is basic for such a setting. For the prices they charge, which are closer to European standards, I expected much better service and honesty. The value for money just wasn’t there.
