Rooms are not worth the price at all and liked nothing

Everything i did not like. Rooms were not clean.

We loved the luxurious experience we had during our stay. Amazing location, ambience and service at best. Rooms were comfortable . Food was delightful. Spa service was relaxing.I want to thank you all maharishi Ayurveda staff for making our stay at Rishikesh a memorable one.

It's a beautiful place ,spacious rooms, specially for Ayurveda treatments ,massages .whole experience has been superb .

the bed was filthy and we asked to change the entire set of bed linen. We didn't trust to use the towels in the bathroom, there was no evidence of cleaning them. One day they didn't clean the room at all

Good location

The place was unexpectedly beautiful and serene. Even though it does not have a clear view. The common areas are amazing and breezy to chill at. There's a pretty yoga deck where free yoga sessions take place every morning. It's right next to Anand Prakash Ashram and the first morning of my stay I pleasantly woke up to bhajans being sung. There's also a puja that takes place daily within the hotel, which I heard while having breakfast and found pleasant. Ordered a stir fried vegetables once which tasted great. It's mainly a panchkarma destination and so the rooms have a lot of facilities and support for patients there for this purpose. Got a doc consult and a short massage complimentary with my stay, which was nice. The guests I encountered staying there were friendly, polite. Room was quite spacious, there is literature in each room and even the unacquainted (like me) will end up learning more about Maharishi Mahesh Yogi. There is a cute library, in case you wish to learn more. It is located close to one of the main roads in Tapovan, so was relatively easier to check out other places and reach public transport.

The front desk is quite clueless about everything except for a lady who sits in the evening shift. Had to probe a lot to get help / recommendations, especially when it came to exploring Rishikesh. They tried but still managed to miscommunicate breakfast timings and charge me full price for an Abhayanga even though I only availed the short treatment. The breakfast area was kind of underwhelming. Bathrooms are average but have all the necessary facilities. At night, the kitchen closes fairly early and lights in the common areas go out by 10 pm. The night desk won't be able to help with any info or service. And the early morning aartis won't let you sleep in late one day if you wish, but that might be more of a Rishikesh thing than specific to this hotel. Unfortunately, the Transcendental Meditation Centre next door, by the same Maharishi, was also shut :( Overall, found the hotel to be a bit overpriced.
