Lilac Hotel - Amman

The hotel is very clean, the water in the shower was hot, the staff was very very kind and very accomodative. Breakfast was decent although there could have been more diversity.

Some rooms are facing the street, and can be noisy. However the rooms away ftom the street.

Breakfast was good, and also personnel at the reception was nice, our original room was somehow very noisy (some strange whistling sound), and when we complained about it, the room was changed without any problems. The beds were ok. We were staying in 5 other hotels during our stay in Jordan and other hotels had them better.

Not sure if it is something that can be fixed, but our initial room was very noisy (probably it was some sound of some central A/C unit or elevator not sure...). The 2nd room was much better, although I could still hear a bit of noise. When we turned on A/C for heating (mid January) you could not hear it. The problem with A/C heating was that it always after 2 hours turned off. The shower was quite dirty, again this is probably due to complicated design of the LED lightning and tiles, and it is hard to clean, so not sure if it can be improved much.

I asked them to deduct the fees from the credit cards as usual but they told me no available!!
