Diana and Hamdi were excellent hosts. Very Nice place to stay and after a warm day to plunge in the pool.

Shame there was no breakfast possibility. But rest was amazing.

Great location very close to the river. Easy access to ferries, taxis and restaurants. The apartment was clean and spacious and the swimming pool was good. Very good value for money.

The apartman is perfectly situated on the West Bank, it's only minutes away from the boats that gets you to the other side of the Nile. Although it is not far from every tourist destination, the neighborhood is surprisingly quiet and peaceful. You can enjoy the sunset over the Nile from the roof terrace any time you want, which is more beautiful than i would have imagined it. The rooms were very clean and well prepared for us. And Hamdy is the best Egyptian guy that we have met during our trip, he was very welcoming and kind. We had the best time here while we were in Egypt and we hope to come back one day.

The location of the hotel was splendid, right next to the bank of the Nile with a small supermarket and many restaurants around the corner. The owner of the hotel was the kindest guy we met in Egypt and he helped us a lot!! The room and pool were also amazing!

We stayed from 28 Nov to 4 Dec 2024. Apartment block was at West Bank. 2 bedrooms. 1 double bed & 2 single beds. Wardrobe to hang your clothes but not enough hangers, so bring your own. Location was near to the boats taking people to the East Bank. Price will depend on the boat owner after negotiation. Near small shops to buy water, bread, etc. The whole stretch of area along the Nile river has restaurants for you to choose from. There was washing machine & we could dry our clothes on the rack at the balcony. There was a swimming pool but we did not use it. Wifi was good.

No soap, shampoo, etc. So bring your own. No shower curtain, so water splashed all over the floor after showering, which made the floor wet & slippery. The carpets/ floor rugs were dusty & dirty. Not sure when the bathroom had been washed last. Tap in the bathroom sink was shaky. There was kind of black mould or residue at the edge of the cupboard (inside) under the bathroom sink. No microwave but there was an oven. The place is dusty. I had to wipe every surfaces when we reached at night. Kitchen utensils, sink & counter top were dirty/dusty. Even the floor were dusty. I had to use plenty of wipes to wipe the floor. Aircon could not be used as a heater. So we had to ask for a portable heater as it was cold. We were given 1. Dishwashing sponges were dirty. I used my own. Kettle still has water inside & a white gooey residue at the side. I had to scrub the inside so many times before I felt it was ok to use.

Absolutely amazing the best accomodation in Luxor. The host was incredible organised anything we needed very obliging. The accomodation was amazing the pool was a big bonus and we used it morning and night. We have to give them a 5 ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️rating.

The best thing about the property is the host. I have never met any other hotel owner/manager that much caring about their guests as the owner of Nile Diana Luxor. He was never tired of taking care about us, all the time went extra miles to meet and exceed all the expectations we had. I would say he is a real hotelier with all his mindset, we felt so welcomed and so safe with him. The place was definitely worth of the money we paid for it. Location is also nice, he all the time was assisting us to book a boat to reach the other side of the river, he also arranged tours around Luxor and Aswan for us, with very comfortable van, as we were group of 10. I would say he was the only person we fully trusted. Everyone else tried to trick and deceive us. I would definitely recommend to stay at this property, I am a big fan of 5 star or luxury hotels, but at Luxor you do not have much choices, even at so called 5 star hotels you will never get the same high quality of service, cleanliness and care as you have it anywhere else in the world. So why spend ten times more, when you can stay at Hamdi’s place and be treated like a royal. As for the food - for Breakfast I would recommend to grab coffee at McDonalds, rather than ordering it anywhere else. We ordered breakfast at one of the restaurants next to our hotel and they delivered it to our place early morning, but it was a total failure, we couldn’t eat or drink anything, all was waste of the money. We also went to one of the restaurant in the center of the city which had high scores on Google and was number 2 on TripAdvisor, but the hygiene standards of the place was a disaster, dirty cutlery, dirty glasses and chinaware. The only place we eat safely and found no hygiene issues was at Nino’s Italian restaurant. Overall, we are so happy we found and chose this property, Luxor is a must visit place when it comes to Egypt and staying at Hamdi’s place will make your trip much easier, affordable and comfortable.

Only the washing machine was the highlight of the property and was very useful for us as have been to a backpacking travel with 2 kids for 2 weeks .

We checked in at 2 am , no shampoo to shower , no spare toilet roll ,no even soap available in the property to wash our hands !!! In the morning I messaged the owner regarding the soap and he said “ here is the home not the hotel “ and I was wondering if we had to bring even soap with us ?!?! Even the lowest level public toilets provide soap to people . Any way he brought a half empty bottle of liquid soap for us as if he was doing a favour for something that hasn’t been part of his service!!!!!! The day after , I asked for a linen as the bed cover didn’t have a fresh sheet , and he brought an unfolded sheet which I never used as it looked like has come off the dirty skip .

Hamdi the owner was perfect to help you for all andvery attentive Swimming pool and terrace amazing just for us!!
