Lightfoot House

Lovely home in a great location. Excellent communication from host. Check in was easy. Property had parking which was great.

Just a couple things which are can be sorted. The mattress was uncomfortable. The water in the sink drained very slowly. Overall the property was lovely and would recommend

We parked up, walked in to Chester which was lovely. Then got the train- 10 mins from accommodation, the train was £2 return to Liverpool( St James Street). We also got a ticket £6.20 for train to New Brighton, then used it for Ferry over to Liverpool then back to Chester. The travel is excellent.

Nothing we didn't like, but as much as I loved the shutters in bedroom. Think need curtains as some light came through.

Nice little one bed house just a stones throw away from Chester centre. Comfortable, well equipped house with parking at the rear. Area was nice and quiet. Good base for a visit around Chester.

Lightfoot house is a lovely compact 1 bedroom property. Very well decorated and very clean. Thank you for supplying all of the essentials needed for our trip. The location was very good, a 20 minute stroll along the canal gets you into the city centre. The suburb of Hoole is a short walk away also, with a good selection of pubs and restaurants. Parking is a great bonus with the car park behind the property. All in all, a very enjoyable short stay. We would definitely use again when we return to Chester

Lovely house , clean and comfortable. Only 10 minutes walk into the main shopping/food/drink area of Chester. Chester itself is great.

This was the perfect stay for our visit to Chester. Parking is very convenient behind the property so there's always a space, much better then on street parking where you may not always get a space next to your stay. The property itself has all the essentials, I liked that the heating was very simple to switch on and set to the desired temperature. The TV is a smart TV so has things like YouTube and Netflix, but we didn't use it that much during our time here. The location is near shops for example alidi is just a 5 min drive or a 20 min walk also shops like Sainsbury's is only a 10 min drive which is great to have the options being close by. If you have the chance to stay at Chester I recommend this stay

There was some dust in the bathroom area other than that not much else

Lovely little house, one good sized bedroom with a very large comfy bed, nice lounge and a kitchen diner, plus an enclosed small garden with table and chairs to sit out. Ideally situated a few minutes walk from Chester.

Staying at Lightfoot was a great. The location was perfect and so close to everything you could need but also had everything you would need if you wanted to relax and stay in. The best hosts you were so accommodating - I’ll definitely be heading back!
