Ok overnatning - elendig morgenmad

Amazing location overlooking Randers, such a peaceful place. Breakfast in the morning is simple with cereal, cheese and meats, coffee juice etc but with fresh baked rolls that are amazing! Room was spacious and comfy. Easy access to main roads and lots of parking on site Amazing value for what you get especially in Denmark!

Kitchen has all the utensils you'd need, just quite a lot of ants also

Quite far away from standard B&B flair. Run with too minimal effort, avoiding any contact with the customers. Placing butter, milk, meat, cheese, etc. for breakfast just in standard bulk portions in the fridge and without supervision is negligent and naively relies on all visitors having the same low food hygiene standards. Room had no closet, not even a single hanger for a coat. Disgusting trashcan. Bed sheets of very poor quality. Quite some dirt under bed.

Dejligt sted. Fint værelse, god morgenmad. Dog lidt upersonligt, da vi ikke mødte ejerne overhovedet og man lige skulle finde ud af at man bare lukkede sig selv ind. Savnede lidt ventilation på badeværelset. Men ellers var alt godt.

Det hele fungerede og var i fineste stand. Det er 2. gang vi har sovet der og vi kommer gerne igen.

I simply cannot praise Essenbaekgaard enough. The owner was absolutely so friendly and helpful. The room and the whole place was very clean with everything needed. The breakfast was wonderful with home baked rolls. The setting was marvellous and the B&B very easy to find. I thoroughly recommend this as a place to stay and will go again next time I'm in Denmark

Well, I didn't see any human being from arrival around 5pm to leaving at 8am. Quite inhospitable & unwelcoming Bed looked like maybe hadn't been changed from the previous guest. Pillow case looked grubby. I needed a second pillow but there was no pillow case at all for that, so I stuffed both pillows into my jacket so I could put my face on that. Slept on the covers in my clothes. Breakfast was another new experience. No one there, no sign of food other than a bunch on bread rolls in baskets with a room number on each. Very strange for me as I travel 30 times a year for the last 30 years, so I've seen it all.
