I left my firestick plugged into the TV , but was reportedly not turned in .

No breakfast, but location great

The rooms were a little musty and sterile feeling, not very cosy.

For our anniversary night away we typically go to the Kiwi Motel in Grand Bend but we wanted to try out something new and chose this hotel specifically because their website said their outdoor heated pool was open thru October (depending on the weather). We were disappointed when we arrived on a blue sky, oddly warm (28 Celsius) October (20th) day to hear it was not open. The pool was clean and beautiful looking though. We asked the front desk, and they had no reason. They said they'd ask the manager, but never heard back. We messaged them on social media but no response. They should update their website as it's misleading and check their social media inbox more frequently. Beyond that, the renovation to the hotel were really well done. There are lots of seating areas outside and we enjoyed the bonfire pits. Our "Superior Queen" courtyard room was probably the smallest hotel room weve ever stayed in, but it was clean and modern. The bed was not actually a queen bed but instead a double...again update the website so it's not misleading. The location is great being right on the strip. It was cool to check out how the old Colonial had been renovated, but to be honest for the price minus pool, and micro room, we won't likely be back.

Immaculate aesthetic and design of the rooms and property overall. Exceptionally clean washrooms and linen.

Outstanding hotel. Only complaint is that the blinds in the rooms are not black out.
