Modern and Design Apartment near the Main Square

Unfortunately, it’s one of those many serviced apartments that have been popping up more and more over the past few years. It’s impersonal and with no soul. You won’t find the famous Croatian hospitality here. Check-in is very weird. You constantly receive emails and have to upload your documents before check-in to receive an access code to open the the door. I was extremely annoyed because we traveled by car and I couldn’t complete this process during the drive, only to find myself standing in front of locked doors after a 10-hour drive. Of course, no one was reachable via the phone number provided either. The apartment is okay. It was extensively renovated. It’s getting a bit old now and is in urgent need of renovation, as many things are broken and worn out. It’s very clear that this type of apartment serves only one purpose: to make a quick buck without putting any effort into it. I actually try to avoid such properties. But it’s very hard to tell on Booking what kind of accommodation it is. Anyone renting such properties should know that they are supporting anonymous investors who are taking away housing from the local population and making it unaffordable for locals. I thought this note might be helpful for those people who value hospitality and integrity.

An excellent apartment equipped with everything needed for a comfortable stay. It is spacious, clean, quiet, and conveniently located close to the city centre.

The check-in instructions were not straightforward. They involved several messages and emails with multiple links to open across different apps, which made the process confusing. Additionally, the final access codes were not provided in a timely manner and were only received after contacting the support number.

Everything was clean and the location so good if I came back to Zagreb I will book it again.
