Modern and Design Apartment near the Main Square

Big rooms with lots of light. Great location with supermarket nearby. Easy walk to main square and city sights.

Clean, good location, modern.

Towels were like sanding paper, very old and scratchy to the skin. Check in was a bit frustrating - they require to send you copies of passports but you can’t do it via booking.com, so have to email via email, but then they can’t locate you and your booking so we had a long thread of emails which took us half a day to deal with. Then at the property there are a few lockboxes with keys, took time to figure out which one is ours…Also said we can’t check in earlier than 4pm, but 10min later received email that room is ready at 2pm…joke

Cleanliness. Location. Comfy bed. Nice shower.

Could not get into property as planned as was not sent password. Had to telephone. Wi-Fi did not work for first 36 hours. Had to telephone. TV did not work at all. Needs to have instructions. Coffee machine needs instructions.

Firstly the check-in was late, we had to wait for their message although it was past check in time. Next they gave us the wrong key from the wrong lockbox and made us take pictures of the door as they thought we were trying to unlock the wrong door. When they found out we were doing everything right, they gave us another code for another lokbox. The code didn't work, so they made us take pictures again, this time of the lockbox. After an hour spent trying to figure out what is wrong, they realised they gave us the wrong code for the lock box and we finally got the right code this time. At this time we were already late for the purpose we were in Zagreb. But that's where the problems started. As we entered the appartement it was immediataly clear that the appartement wasn't cleaned. All they did was change the sheets (with a torn sheet might I add). There were stains everywhere. Stains on the floor, counter, table, all the chairs, stains and hair on every cleanable surface. Dirty floor, not vacummed nor washed. Dirty utensils. The toilet was not cleaned for god's sake, only the plastic toilet seat was sort of wiped briefly. Tha couch was absolutely gross, stains and cigarette holes. There was a strange smell in the apartement. I sort of looked as if it was used for hanging out. I imediately contacted the owners and they made me take pictures again, which I did. They said the cleaning team was coming to sort thigs out in two hours and that we should leave the keys in the lockbox, and we did. Nobody came and we were ignored by the owners for the rest of the stay. I'm filing a complaint and wouldn't recomend this appartement to anyone.

They property was in a great location to see the sites and walk to the centre of town. The bed was comfy and there were lots of facilities in terms of the kitchen and washing machine. The staff were also friendly and we enjoyed our stay.

We did find that the apartment didn’t appear to have been thoroughly cleaned before our stay, including the floors, toilet and basin. The staff were apologetic when this was raised.

Good size unit. Great communications and followup.
