Hotel BESTPRICE Girona

Fairly close to the Old Town, just a 15 to 20 mins walk. Very welcoming staff on reception and very kindly they upgraded us to a family room as twin beds were not available which we wanted and did try to book. So we had 2 double beds which along with the pillows were amazingly comfortable and along with the blackout curtains we had the best sleep ever. There is complimentary tea downstairs in reception and just 1 euro for coffee. There is a supermarket almost next door so very handy for food and drink. There are a few sofas in reception to enjoy your tea or coffee. We didn’t have breakfast so can’t comment.

Goede ligging, kleine maar praktische kamer. Vriendelijk en bekwaam personeel.

Kamer was niet echt gezellig, gaf een gevangenisgevoel waarschijnlijk ook door het raam met baren voor. Wat ik ook niet goed begreep (misschien verkeerd verstaan) was toen ik vroeg wat een taxi-rit naar de luchthaven me zou kosten ik als antwoord kreeg dat het hotel een soort van deal van 40 euro had gesloten met het taxibedrijf terwijl ik 's anderen daags slechts 31,25 euro moest betalen bij aankomst in de luchthaven aan de chauffeur. Matras was niet goed. Als je boekt krijg je een paar uur later een vraag tot betaling van de rekening van het hotel wat me deed twijfelen of het hier niet om phishing ging.
