Camas sucias y muy pequeñas las habitaciones

The door to the street was locked.

The place was not clean and very noisy (traffic passing by right under the window and a lot of noise from the other rooms). A window was broken with a shard of glass pointing towards the room. Shared bathroom had no soap or towels. Terrasse is for Restaurant only. Many homeless people consuming substances in that area,one should be home before nightfall.

Great location, right in the heart of the old city, within easy walk of all the sites and museums. Lots of restaurants, cafes and bars. Great value, my room had a balcony overlooking the street.

I didn't mind as it's what I'd expect from staying so centrally in Colombia but it can be noisy, with music and traffic. The other group were down to party.and.up.all night performing karaoke.

Central location within La Candelaria neighborhood. The staff is friendly and helpful with recommendations and tips about Bogotá. Bathrooms are clean and hostel facilities are decent. Jazz jam session is hosted weekly, which is nice.

The small single room I had was not exactly clean: multiple stains all over the walls plus some stains and "crusts" in the bedsheets. Noise isolation in the room was not good, you could hear people talking from the reception and other rooms at all times. The hostel hosted a jazz jam session, which lasted till late. I went to bed rather early and could not fall asleep till it finished since the music could be heard very loudly from the rooms. This is not cool.
