Estes Lake Lodge

The location is a decent place to explore Rocky Mountains. It is still before the entrace to the park. Visitors to the park must apply for/aquire a slot for entering the park at a particular time.

There is no breakfast There is no staff to hand over a key or provide any information The beds and furniture is very old.

Location: this lodge is close to the Rocky Mountains National Park.

This is just a very basic lodge. We stayed for 2 days, - in 2 different rooms of the lodge. In those 2 days we did not encounter any staff that could help/advise/provide information. There is an office where you can pick up keys and amenities. Then you are 'on your own'. The rooms are old. The furniture is old. I think prices were high because of the holiday season. I have never paid for a worse value for money in my life (and I have been travelling for 25+ years).

We absolutely love this place. The views are amazing. It's quiet and peaceful. Walking distance to Lake Estes, on the edge of town away from the hustle and bustle. Second time staying here, will come back when we can. Thank you for another wonderful stay.

The room was older but lovely. The bed was terribly uncomfortable though.

The room was much larger than we thought it was going to be, in fact it felt like a small apartment! We will definitely be back in warmer weather for mor amenities!
