USnice and a lot of room
no plastic cups for the kids to drink out of only wine glasses and coffee mugs I had to buy some. no pot holders for cooking other places that I have stayed at had more and nicer pots and pans. the water filter for the refrigerator needed to be changed

I didnt like that there were ants everywhere in the master bathroom, I found it difficult to communicate with the host company. I didnt get my key code and I spent two days trying to straighten everyhing out, to get the code. I also didnt like that in the main pool area, you were not allowed to bring in your own drinks and food. They force you to buy theres when your already spending money at that property. It makes it hard to just relax and have a good time.

The property needs a deep cleaning, because of dust and stained carpet. The thermostat was controlled and was very hot at night. The kitchen only has 2 tall drinking glasses (this is a four bedroom house). This property does not provide enough bathroom linens (they do not provide any wash cloths). This is a very nice house, but lacks hospitality. Maintenance person showed up two days in a row to replace a mirror that did not need to be replaced (very inconvenient and unprofessional). We should have been contacted before someone kept knocking on the door day after day.

First of all, we were put in unit 4908 Storey Lake Resort 4Bd 12G 60407 and not 4896 Storey Lake Resort. No one got back to me about changing units and why they put us in this unrenovated and uncleaned home. The dining table was never looked at or fixed. The only thing that was done was new pillows, one set of sheets, and a mattress cover was purchased for the primary bedroom, and the cleaning person (Carlos) cleaned the refrigerator. None of the other issues were taken care of. We cleaned the countertops and vacuumed the floors. This was one of the most horrible “resorts” we have ever stayed at. The sad thing also is there wasn’t even a Christmas tree set up like in some of the other units we saw. We expected a better experience than this. We would like to have some compensation for this experience. This was supposed to be a happy stay during Christmas and our son's wedding. We ended up going to other places to eat because we didn’t trust the table would be safe. The only plus was the location was pretty good. Close to stores and restaurants. The customer service leading up to our stay was questionable as well. The need for selfies, copies of IDs, and credit cards should not be a part of the verification process. In today's times of identity theft, it is not necessary to request this information. Also, the customer service agent we talked to was rude and condescending. She talked about the homes being million-dollar homes and needing protection. She felt the need to continually repeat herself as if we were idiots and didn't comprehend what she was trying to relay to us. From the looks of the home we got stuck with, that was not my idea of a million-dollar home. After this experience, I am sure we would rather stay anywhere but here.
