The play areas for little ones

Was a bit further from town than we thought

Over all the facilities are good. The villas are a little small for a family with 3 small kids. The showers in the villas leaked water into the bathroom. The blankets in the villas smelt like BO as if they hadn't been washed for a while. Kitchens are small and hard to use with the tables in them. When we first walked into the out villa it smelt like I had been hit in the face by a moldy dusty rag. Other than the negative the stay was positive.

Have stayed here in the past and always enjoyed the family friendly environment and kids activities. The equipped kitchen is important for us.

I was disappointed by the cleanliness of our cabin. We have stayed here before and noticed this time that the whole park maintenance has slipped. At almost $800 for 2 nights it is hardly budget and I would query if the cabin had been cleaned or just allowed for previous inhabitants to use.

Things I Didn't Like: Confusion around payment: Received check-in paperwork indicating payment was still due, despite having paid through Booking.com Had to follow up for reimbursement, causing unnecessary stress Maintenance and cleanliness issues: Floors were filthy on arrival — sticky and with a build-up of dirt Had to wear shoes/socks indoors due to dirty floors Strong sewage smell throughout stay, requiring windows and doors to stay shut Excessive dust in the kids’ room caused a coughing fit, requiring my son to be moved out of the room Facilities and amenities: Hot water ran out every night — told it was due to system capacity No TV remote in main bedroom No air conditioner remote in the kids’ room Pool and play equipment access restricted to 8am–6pm — far too limited for families on holiday Pools were not temperature controlled — water was too cold to enjoy Mini golf was poorly maintained and not enjoyable General lack of cleanliness and maintenance across all shared facilities Overall dissatisfaction: Equipment and infrastructure felt outdated and poorly looked after Experience fell far below expectations for an Ingenia BIG4 standard Poor value for money — nearly $1000 spent for 4 nights felt wasted Regret not staying in a hotel along The Strand, which would have offered better value and comfort
