The kindness of the staff, beautiful view from the room nice view the sunrise with hundreds of hot balloons on the horizon.

Cant explain the kindness and level of care Fatima gave us, she is like a mother to us now. From the day we entered she took care of us like her own children. Very clean rooms, charming and all the facilities you need. Perfect location to all restaurants and activities. Literally walking distance. Thank you soo much for a memorable stay. I highly recommend booking this place, also great value for money.

I do not recommend staying at this hotel. It looks nice and the rooms are big an spacious but the management and treatment of customers from the owner is unacceptable and rude. The hotel is managed by a family. A mother and 2 sons. Ahmed is the nicest of them all and very accommodating and understands how a customer should be treated and provides a caring vibe - his mother on the other side is the problem is this hotel. It might be personal experience but trust me she ruins the hotel vibe. She is constantly checking what you are doing and makes you feel like you are being watched. When I arrived she tried to make me pay more than what was offered on Agoda or booking.com so I had to explain I wouldn’t and agree to pay the reasonable price. The good think is she did find me a room the room is great. Even through they had a card machine she instead I paid cash and she wouldn’t stop asking for it because she needed the cash to go to the supermarket. Like it is supposed to be my problem ? Every time I left my room she’s follow to ask me where the mon y was. Very intimidating feeling and pressure which you don’t need when you’re on holiday. She asked other travellers to cash out the money when is so easy to just pay by card as the commission fee to cash money out of outrageous. She just doesn’t know how to be nice. The breakfast is average and you need to keep reminding her that there isn’t coffee or milk and she always gets annoyed when you ask her to go fetch it. The breakfast room was still opened with plenty of food at 11,11am and I went to make me another coffee and I picked some food as there was so much left thinking why would this be a problem - it’s food! and she got the hump that breakfast finishes at 10.30Am needless victim behaviour and she got angry I picked some food instead of being nice and say of course take more if you need it’s ok because literally it is ok. She hasn’t cleaned my room once! I stay in my room sometimes because I am tired but she clearly could come and check and get some toilet papers refilled. No, she hasn’t been once! She sleeps on the bench at the entrance of the hotel which I find very u professional. She chases after you and money 24/7. She shouts about when she’s cleaning with her son. Overall, the hotel is gorgeous in terms of the architecture and interiors and in a great location but I’d rather stay in a cheaper place where you are treated fairly and with someone who is nice. At the end of the day it isn’t about the looks it’s about the experience you receive and at this hotel you won’t get the personal intimate attention you should receive. I do not think it’s worth it. There are plenty nicer people out here in Turkey who I’d rather give my money to than this family. Also breakfast is so basic 🤯 Camilla

We stayed in the cave suite at this hotel located on the ground floor. The location of this hotel is excellent, shops, restaurants, atm machine all close by. Fatma and her cat Murphy are both lovely and approachable. Her son that sits at the front desk cannot understand English that well but Fatma is great. My husband messed up our hotel stay so we had booked 1 night less, luckily Fatma had a free room and was helpful in getting us moved in. I would definitely stay here again but there are a few things that could be improved. For example we expected our room to be cleaned after returning from a day out, when we asked Fatma why our room wasn't cleaned she said that we needed to leave our keys with her in the morning, which wasn't mentioned when we arrived. Secondly, we booked an airport transfer for our arrival and departure, the arrival worked out great but the departure was very hit and miss. We asked if the airport transfer could pick us up earlier but we kept being told that the time they had suggested was fine and we only discovered that this could not be changed after we had paid the money which was annoying. The transfer picked us up from hotel quite late and other passengers seemed equally annoyed at how late the transfer was running. We arrived at the airport 1 hour before departure and as a result, had to rush to get checked in. This could have been avoided if we were told that the transfer pick up times are fixed before taking our money. All in all our stay was nice but I think things could be explained a bit better before taking bookings.

Wonderful stay at the newly opened Takunya Cave Hotel for four nights. The hosts Fatma and her son Ahmat made me feel so at home and welcome. The hotel is very central and some of the rooms have views of balloons in the morning. My suite, 102, was large, had high ceilings and exotic cave features. Totally loved the bathroom. You won’t regret staying here. Fatma makes beautiful jewellery and accessories for sale too.

We loved our stay here. The hotel is so central and Fatma is absolutely amazing! It is a value for money hotel and a must stay! We stayed in the cave room 103 and absolutely loved our time spent here. You can even see the balloons from the terrace here. Fatma makes excellent handmade jewellery too. Will definitely visit again.
