The Kamare

Nothing special to be honest. Pretty standard. I liked that they have a desk. I stayed for 2 weeks, but I’d say it’s a 1night stay place.

Maybe i had wrong expectations (based on my other gues house stays in Canggu but… I didn’t like that the room is so small, the doors are sliding and so difficult to lock, there’s just blinds - no see-through curtains so if you don’t want people to see you (because everyone is passing through your big window doors), you have to have the blinds closed (stay in the dark). WiFi was not reliable in the room. There wasn’t a place to eat or get coffee like other guest houses have - this was a problem for me. Pool and sunbeds - unusable. Ground floor room (where I was first placed) smelled of damp. 2nd floor was better but there’s no light coming to your room.

Check-in instructions are very clear and the process is seamless, whatever time I get there. This was my second time there and I will likely go back next time !

The bathroom wasn’t the cleanest and definitely could benefit from an upgrade and deep clean

It is very clean and the staff is super nice. When we fell sick they helped us get better which was really meaningful for us. We will definitely come back😊

The Kamare is a great location for those who want to explore Canggu but want to enjoy some tranquillity as well. The rooms are comfortable, hygienic, spacious and the staff is very friendly. The accommodation is next to the padi fields and offers great sunset views. Would recommend!

The pool was warm and the sunbeds not very comfortable. But that's all I can think off.

Loved my stay at the Kamare. Clean facility. Lovely pool. Helpful and friendly staff - Esa, Darma, Gin, Harris and Agus- were great hosts! I’d recommend this place for all travellers and come back again.

Super friendly and welcoming stuff. Even my late check-in past midnight wasn't a problem at all. Everything was clean and nice and quite at all times during my stay.
