Great location. Lovely bedroom. Friendly, helpful host. Lots of thoughtful little items left for guest use - e.g. torches and a lantern.

Would be good to have a couple of wine glasses. More drinks coasters please.

"A wonderfully equipped, cozy spot to explore Alresford from"

Fantastic little place and perfectly situated to explore Alresford (which we loved). We found the Lavender Folly to be wonderfully equipped and the host was very flexible with our arrival time.

Access by car is tight and you need to park elsewhere — but we followed the host’s advice to stay in the Station car park, which was just a couple of minutes away.

Beautifully decorated, tiny, but cosy cottage. Great base for many attractions in the local area. in the centre of a stunning village with a walking distance to shops and pubs. very comfy bed and a modern bathroom (no carpets). super clean and charming.

"Small but beautiful little folly with lovely outside space in a fabulous market town near Winchester"

Location was superb, town is very quaint but has everything one might need. The walks around the area are lovely - especially along the River Arle. The Lavender Folly is chocolate box perfect, small but beautifully decorated. Property owner was fabulous and extremely helpful.

Minor issues with TV access but really didn’t affect our stay which was super.

"Excellent choice for a Hampshire mini-break"

It was a very well presented and comfortable ‘one up- one down’ property with very good facilities. The location is really convenient for Alresford’s shops cafes and pubs.

Only having a 2 night stay ! Some people may find parking an issue , as the Station car park is now restricted to 3 hours during the day, albeit still free overnight.
