Location perfect just a short walk to the City where there's so much to do. Local pub was great and handy tesco express. Also packing space

We couldn't find an iron.

The property was grubby, particularly a tissue with blood on it in the bedside draw unit in bedroom 1 and old orange peel between the sofa and the radiator in the lounge. There was no bedside table in either bedroom 2 or 3, as had been shown on the photos. However our main concern was the stairs. These were quite dangerous with a tight curve at the top, very narrow tread and no handrail. The whole staircase has a narrow tread, with pins or nails between the riser and the tread. The carpet is nylon and very slippery. Ideally there should be a different type of stair covering for better grip and handrails on both sides, particularly at the top. As we were packing up at the end of our stay, my daughter slipped on the stairs and broke her toe.

The house was spacious and clean. It had everything you needed including things like washing up liquid and towels.

The bathroom being downstairs and the stairs were quite steep.
