We had a great stay at the Richmond Hotel Premier Kyoto. The room was very big and we had no trouble finding a place for our two large suitcases. The beds and pillows were very comfortable and the bathroom was the largest we’ve had in our 3 week tour of Japan. We especially appreciated the staff who were very kind and thoughtful at all times. We had long days of walking and when we got back to the hotel, the there would be a really lovely snack available for hotel guests to partake in. Available between 18:00 & 20:30. What a great idea 😀. We loved it. We used this time to relax and talk about the day and the things planned for the next day 🥳

"Expensive but worth it"

Classy looking, clean, well located. Rooms decent enough sized for Japan and we're cleaned daily. Really nice amenities provided. Look out for the free activities, they're really interesting.

Little pricey but guess it's Kyoto. Breakfast is expensive but worth a try for 1 day of the stay.
