Very clean and nice and big.

The stairs should have asked for a ground floor apartmwlent as we struggled with the stairs thats our fault no one elses

The lay out was nice. 2 bed apartment, main bedroom had ensuite. French doors of the living area is a nice touch.

I sent an email complaining about the dirty tissues and old dried orange peel that was left behind the settee plus the pasta that was left in the cupboard from pervious guests and so the cleaner turned up the next day. The cleaner was rude and let herself into the apartment while we were there. Then she didn't want to leave. She had my number but didn't think to call to notify us that she was coming. Plus I don't understand why she had my number under data protection I don't believe this is allowed. Stained bedding, old sheets in 2nd bedroom, cracked toilet seat etc

Location for a family wedding at Hodsock Priory Apartment 10 at the rear of property so bedrooms quiet Value for money

Lack of a long mirror in the bedroom to get ready for wedding . I was assured there were mirrors Dirty crockery, no plug for sink so unable to soak dishes . Loose carpet - trip hazard No toilet rolls in one of the bathrooms. Only part used one in the other.

The location was accurate

We booked this far in advancde and wish we read the latest reviews before travelling. The apartment was filthy and poorly maintained, looking nothing like the photos. The state of the carpet and cutlery drawers for example was a sight to behold. We contacted the property on arrival but had to spend a good 90mins cleaning until we got contacted by the cleaning company. They were more bothered about pinning the blame to the maintenance team and were frustrating to deal with. The property ownership offered us a full refund, yet when booking.com went to process it the owner (Tom) overruled and rejected it! Again a lot of wasted time.. Tom refuses to contact us back and clarify the situation. Apparently he has been in Dubai. Probably never stepped foot into this cesspit.
