Kings Run Retreat Patio

Our stay at this Airbnb was incredibly disappointing, primarily due to the lack of cleanliness and basic upkeep. Upon arrival, we noticed that the ceiling fan had a thick layer of dust, and the floors were also dusty. The blinds on the living room sliding door didn’t fully close, forcing us to tape them for privacy. The kitchen utensils were grimy, so we had to rewash everything ourselves and purchase cleaning supplies and air freshener to make the space livable for our 7-night stay. The blanket provided on the bed smelled musty, like it had been stored in an old attic. As for the bed itself, it was by far the most uncomfortable mattress I’ve ever slept on. Every morning, we woke up feeling like we had slept in a hole, and honestly, the couch was a better option. Overall, this Airbnb is in serious need of a deep clean and some basic maintenance. I would not recommend this place unless the owners take the time to properly clean and make it more comfortable for future guests.

Beautiful place among the trees. Not too busy. Quiet. Little older. But had been upgraded in the room. Bed was comfortable. They were having higher than average temps and with no air conditioning it was a little warm at night.

The property location was good. The grounds area around the property was nice and within a good vincinity. The unit itself is not updated. *Had to clean the hot tub before entering *Coffee pot leaked and randomly made smaller or larger cups on its own *Blinds were missing slats *Dusty shelves and ceiling

The place was clean which is very important, had a full kitchen, plenty of room for four, but better for two. We enjoyed the pool, hot tub and the recreation room which had a pool table, ping pong and chess. The grounds are very clean, quiet and family oriented. Communication was easy through Grand Welcome which we appreciated. Check in and check out was easy and there was plenty of parking. The owner provided us a free parking permit. Unfortunately the bed was very uncomfortable; it felt like we were sleeping in a bowl. We looked under the bed and it was only propped up with three 1 x 1s in the center. Obviously the owner knew this was an issue, but their fix did not work. The neighbors above us walked so loudly off and on all day and night that we did not sleep well our entire stay. The couch sunk so badly that we had to double the cushions in order to sit on it. The binder in the condo says you do not have access to the laundry room because it is only for owners use. The email from the owner asked us to start a load of towels for the housekeeper just before check out time. This was contradictory information and we felt that paying for our stay should not include us cleaning the linens for the rental. This is why we brought our own linens. We have stayed in 3, 4 and 5 star places. We give this place a 3 star rating. If the mattress/mattress support and couch were replaced that would increase the rating of this rental. Rest and relaxation on vacation is very important!
