Casa das Lérias

Property is located right in the centre, a few steps away from the cathedral, bridge and river side. The property has a nice design and was very well kept and clean. They also have a nice coffee shop at street level, where a good breakfast is served. This part of Amarante is beautiful and romantic and is worth a few days visit if you are in the Douro region. Porto Airport is some 40 minutes away.

The toilet was squashed between the wall and the vanity unit and though I am not a big person it was still very uncomfortable. On the first night there was a street party with very loud music till 3.30am, this is not the hotel's fault but we were utterly annoyed as we could not sleep.

The location was fabulous, just above the river and within easy walk of sights and other amenities. I'm already looking for a reason go back to Amarante!

The room was small and the main thing I wished we had that we didn't was a table and chair in the room.

Great central location. Room was clear and reasonably spacious. Fine for a short stay.

Breakfast was limited. Staff weren’t forthcoming. Carpets are stairs could do with a good clean.
