I like the scenery the quietness and relaxation and the host was very friendly and reliable

I didn’t like the fact that their wasn’t any utensils available in the kitchen and the bedroom having two beds

I like the view of the trees in the distance and the set up of private and enclosed spaces that kept us away from the other guests. I appreciate that we were given the opportunity to check in a little earlier having arrived a few hours before and just wanted to see where the property was located. I also appreciated the support the host gave us through many of the very disheartening inconveniences that we experienced during our stay. I appreciate that we were also not rushed out of the property during the rain when it was time for checkout and had not received breakfast as yet.

Having traveled with a small group of friends, our expectations were not very high but they still were not met. I made a booking way in advance of my stay, and when I arrived, the rooms we booked were not the rooms that we were assigned — that was the first inconvenience. I was told that someone booked the apartment that I had selected before me on the same website — how is that even possible? Having no choice but to accept a downgrade since we had nowhere else to go, it was very surprising to discover that there were cockroaches in one of the showers in a room we booked. We were very shocked and disgusted. We alerted the host and were told that the “room isn’t usually booked”. I am afraid that that was not a good enough explanation. Spaces for rent should always be cleaned before guests arrive, even if they arrive early. It was also a shocking discovery to find out that the person that I was in contact with during the early stages of making the booking was not the person that greeted us upon arrival. This displays a breakdown in the lines of communication and gives the impression that there were one too many people involved in the process of our stay. I was surprised that even after I checked in that day, I got a call and was asked if I was still checking in — in what universe does this happen? Adding to a very long list of major inconveniences, we placed an order for breakfast on Sunday morning from the Thursday before, and we were asked to resend our orders when we got in. And even though having resent those orders, the process of getting our breakfast on Sunday was insufferable. We could understand that the weather prevented “the chef” from arriving at the specific time that they were supposed to to prepare our meal, but we could not believe that the simple breakfast that we requested could not be provided. We eventually canceled most of our orders and had to go find food on our own (God Bless Cynthia from Winifred Beach).

I loved the location as it was close to the main road and the pool was definitely a added bonus to the property’s amenities along with exceptional service from the guy on the property .
