Location

I am no longer going to use Booking.com. I prepaid for the stay. Checked in and of course had to use my debit card for incidentals. No big deal but $50 pending for incidentals, then woke up next day and got another pending charge of $289 for the room I already pre paid for. It’s been 48 hrs since I checked out yet the two pending charges are still on my checking account. Why prepay for a room when you get charged again. Yes I know I will eventually get my money released and yes I did talk to the hotel staff about it when I was checking out but why should I have to? The $50 for incidentals is normal so I am not really complaining about that but I am complaining about booking.com making me prepay for a room and then the hotel again charging me even if it’s temporary. It’s a hassle I no longer will deal with. I will never stay at hotel 45 again not because it’s not a nice place nor because the staff but because I hate feeling like any minute I will again have to argue with someone over the fact I got charged twice. Same with Booking.com. I will never use this app again. I had enough.
