Club ES Jecheon Resort

The place was very quiet, private, and had a good view. The room was large, especially the bathroom was huge.

HOwever, we had to climb all these wooden stairs to access our room, it was quite inconvenient to carry our large luggage to the room.

무엇을 기대하든 그 이하가 될 것임! 주말 20만원대 숙소의 컨디션이 최악임. 얼룩 묻은 베딩 상태, 관리안 된 기기들, 곰팡이 핀 욕실, 먼지천지 방충망, 선풍기 등등 손 닿고 싶은 곳이 하나도 없는 최악의 숙소 토-일 1박2일 여행 중 숙소보고 돌아오고 싶은 적은 처음임. 보통 리뷰를 안 남기는데 참고들 하시라 올립니다.

Location near to the Worak maintain (no, not Soraksan , but Woraksan) is ideal for a escape to nature, away from the the crowded Seoul/Incheon city life and air pollution. Have been here multiple times before and it's ideal for a week-long stay. Staff is friendly and for non-Korean speakers, there is always the magic translator app that makes everything possible. Facilities are a bit aging, but that is part of the out-of-the-city experience I guess. One of the most relaxing places we have come to know during our 8-year professional stay in South Korea. And yes, it is pet friendly with a dog weight limit of 15 kg - and nobody to be waiting with balance ;-). There are restrictions on site for your pet, like no walking around on the compound, but that is because they do have some other animals roaming around (ducks and rabbits). Not unreasonable given the circumstances.

The resort is close to the lake and part of the forest. We arrived very late at night, and the guy in the reception explained all our needs - including that he ordered food for us and brought a reading lamp. We spent just two nights in the resort and found cake "MARLENKA" (from Czeck company) in coffee.

The Resort is old, and some furniture needs to be re-news.

호숫가를 따라 한참을 들어가야 나오는 고즈넉한 리조트입니다. 대체적으로 조용한 분위기인데 저희는 운이 안좋았는지 윗층에서 새벽까지 소리가 많이 들렸습니다. 체크아웃 시간이 임박해서는 객실청소하시는 분께서 초인종이나 노크 없이 문을 벌컥 여셔서 조금 놀랐네요.

Location and views from whole resort. Also staff are very friendly except the cleaning crew.

Facility is aged and needs few repairs.
