Kocadon Hotel

Kocadon Museum Hotel is hidden in the city like a hidden treasure. We have been coming to Bodrum for many years and we can't wait to stay again in this historical and very special hotel that we discovered by chance. Myk Denizden restaurant, owned by Masterchef Mehmet Yalçınkaya, located in the backyard is also a must-try restaurant.

communication wasn't very clear with the staff. Particularly regarding meals. the restaurant is managed separately, even though it is part of the same building and you get to it directly. So breakfast has to be reserved one day in advance and paid up front. This is fine, as long as you are aware of it, and don't find yourself at night not being able to reserve. Breakfast was excellent by the way. For dinner, we could not understand if we could eat there, so we ended up going elsewhere

Go soon, I imagine prices in this hotel will only rise. Each room has a theme and custom glass and tilework. Great AC, good location, history and mini museum exhibits everywhere showing local history and the history of the building. Comfortable beds, great all round.

Beautiful hotel and friendly staff. Rooms are silent, there are nice cosmetics in the bathroom. The location is in walking distance to the main attractions and restaurants. The bus station is actually not far away too (about 20 minutes walk).

Wi-Fi was somewhat unstable.

This is an exceptional authentic hotel where you feel the family history as well as an elegant taste and service both in the hotel and the accompanying restaurant. You can enjoy Mehmet Sef’s selection of seafood dishes as well as mezes. Breakfast was a positive surprise with local fruit jams and impressive cheese plate. Very good location. Great traditional design.

Really nice small boutique hotel. The rooms were very clean and comfortable. Each room had some historical artifacts saved by the family of those who built the hotel, which was a nice and interesting touch. The staff is friendly and ready to help with any requests. I would also highly recommend their breakfast as it had a traditional Turkish experience and was really tasty. The hotel is conveniently located and there are lots of restaurants, bars, and shops around. Overall we had a great stay.

There is not a lot of space outside of your room to hang out within the hotel. It didn't bother us, but if you are relying on such things that might be a problem.

It was beautifully decorated and very close to the docks, really nice staff.
