Hotellin miljöö oli upea ja tunnelmallinen. Meillä oli huone allasnäkymällä toisessa kerroksessa ja se oli yksityinen. Henkilökunta oli kohteliasta ja avuliasta. Huone oli aina siisti ja kaikki pyyntömme hoituivat nopeasti ja sujuvasti. Kävelimme Choeng Mon beachilla ja totesimme, että hotellivalintamme oli täydellinen.

Ruoka hotellin ravintoloissa oli hyvää muttei huippua.

We had a wonderful stay at Kimpton Kitalay Samui. The location is beautiful. Direct beach access. Calm sea. Soft light throughout the day. What really defines this hotel is the team. Kwan leads with presence and clarity. He stays attentive and composed at all times. You feel order without pressure. Apple adds warmth and precision. She remembers preferences and acts immediately. Her service feels natural and personal. A special mention goes to Zaw at the beach. Quiet, respectful, highly professional. He watches everything and intervenes only when needed. During our stay there were some large guest groups who ignored basic etiquette. Smoking outside designated areas. Leaving breakfast tables completely messy and unattended. What stood out was how the team handled this. • Always polite. • Always discreet. • Clear guidance without embarrassment. • Calm corrections that protected other guests. Room catering and cleaning were impeccable. The rooms were spotless at all times. Requests were handled quickly and with care. The hotel combines design, comfort, and ease. Spacious rooms. Thoughtful details. Very good food. No stiffness. Just well-run hospitality. Kimpton Kitalay works because of people like Kwan, Apple, and Zaw. They protect the experience when it matters most.

Tolle Poolanlage. Wir hatten ein Zimmer mit Poolzugang, das war gerade mit Baby super. Tolles Frühstück, super Kaffee und Getränkeangebot. Auch die Bäckerei hatte tolle außergewöhnliche Getränke. Sehr zu empfehlen.

Service beim Frühstück war unaufmerksam und langsam. Die Teller stapelten sich und wir saßen wiederholt an einem wackelnden Tisch. Wir haben die Teller dann teilweise selbst gestapelt und auf die Kommoden im Restaurant gestellt, um wieder Platz auf unserem Tisch zu haben. Zudem war der Strand wirklich fürchterlich und nicht eines Hotels in dieser Preiskategorie würdig. Das Meer hat haufenweise Plastikmüll angespült, welcher dann als Konsequenz ungeachtet zwischen den Strandliegen rumgammelte. In diesem Hotel wurden selbst Kieselsteine gefegt, aber den offensichtlichen Plastikmüll am Strand, ließ man ungeachtet liegen und servierte zwischen den Strandliegen munter seine überteuerten Drinks. Des Weitereb war das Spa- und Sportangebot wirklich dürftig. Gerade das Sportangebot hat uns irritiert. Es wurden lediglich Kurse wie Yoga und Thaiboxen um 07:00 Uhr morgens angeboten. Wir sind Frühaufsteher aber so frühes Angebot lädt nun nicht dazu ein teilzunehmen. Auch das Angebot für Kinder war dürftig. Der Kidsclub war ein etwas leer wirkender Raum mit Bällebad und Kuscheltierecke. Wir hatten uns schon gewundert, weshalb dort kaum Kinder waren, aber bei dem Angebot verständlich. Ebenfalls waren die anderen Gäste gewöhnungsbedürftig und sehr auffällig.
