Pane & Pomodoro Beach Roomy Flat

Location.

I had to take pain killers for 3 days because the bed was so poor. How can a property at such price be rented out without internet in today's world?

- location - right at the beach, you just have to cross the street; easy access to the city centre via a bus with a stop close by - space - the apartment is indeed very spacious - everything was clean - good communication with the host

- the biggest problem was the lack of heating - we came in February when the temperature was about 10°C outside and the only way to heat the whole flat, with its stone floors, was to use the two ACs - one in the living room, the other in one of the bedrooms (the second bedroom is not equipped with a unit) - it was really cold in the apartment when we arrived and it took two days before the temperature felt okish - the apartment must have once been extremely luxurious, but now it seems neglected - some lights are not working, some switches are displaying wires and are dangerous to touch (especially in the bathroom), the kitchen drain was half stuck, battery in a torch not working (which was an issue, see below), mosquito nets falling apart, etc. - the kitchen was a disappointment - there was little equipment, some of which was very old; there was a new frying pan which unfortunately didn't work with the induction hob; we hoped to be cooking here but soon gave up; worst of all, you can't cook and have the kettle on at the same time - the electricity is weak and it can't sustain both, resulting in repeated visits to the fuse box - there was not enough hot water (for the two of us) and we had to plan who would be taking shower when - we were surprised by the absence of WiFi - as the host pointed out in response to my question, this is indeed written in the description of the apartment, but it honestly didn't occur to me to be checking whether there is WiFi, it is nowadays standard equipment of rental apartments; I wouldn't mind it that much if there was better mobile data coverage, but the place for some reason has very poor signal - also, a single toilet paper role provided for two people for a week-long stay may seem like a trifle but somehow this added to our overall feeling that the hosts are trying to run the place as cheaply as possible

We really liked it, cozy, clean, a lot of space, the kitchen is equipped with everything you need. Very close to the beach, grocery stores 5-10 minutes walk. The center - 30 minutes walking along the beautiful embankment

Fantastic large apartment would be great in summer as it is just across the road from the beach. It had everything you need. Well equipped. Communication with Gaetano was superb. He was very responsive and very helpful.

Too far away from the main part of town. There are regular buses along the main road back to the apartment. Its a nice quiet neighborhood. If you want to be closer to the action this is not the place
