The Morrison House Bed and Breakfast

Nice decor, comfortable, enjoyed eating breakfast with other guests, parking on site.

This is a charming B&B located in the heart of Davis Square. The service is excellent! There is home made quick bread (e.g., banana) every morning for breakfast, plus a full array of other breakfast items. French press coffee. Because it's an historic home, the bedrooms are of different sizes. No lift, but the manager kindly carried my suitcase upstairs. There are games and books. I would stay again.

Great location, spacious home. The bed was very comfortable and parking was easy. The home has an old fashioned feel to it. Cat was cute!

Lovely large room on first floor with king bed and two murphy beds, desk, extra sink outside bathroom, well-appointed bathroom, great pressure in shower, two terry robes, very good coffee, breakfast provided, extremely comfortable, everything very neat and spic and span, great location adjacent to Davis Square and the subway (can easily get to South Station in Boston on the Red Line), very nice hosts -

I really enjoyed my stay at Morrison house. The room was clean, lovely and quiet. And the owner was very friendly!

I stayed a couple of days at the Davies inn and then moved to the Morrison . It was a wonderful stay . The area is peaceful and a block away from the T that will bring you in central in less than 30 min. The place is very calm and has a homy feel . I had breakfast everyday with perfect strangers and had the most pleasant conversations that I will remember . If I ever come back to Boston I will stay there again

This is a little gem of a place to stay in an area that felt very safe to walkaround at night. The owners were away on holiday when we arrived and so their friend Marc was in charge, he was a lovely ,knowledgeable friendly and chatty man who made us very welcome. Our room was large and clean with a fringe, small table/desk and en suite. The bed was large and comfortable. Breakfast was simple but tasty offering of fresh coffee, toast, fruit salad, eggs, yoghurts and homemade cake. Being British the idea of sharing a large table for breakfast with the other guests was something that we would not normally do, but it was a wonderful idea and we meet some very interesting and lovely people. It was a couple of minutes walk from an underground station which made getting into the city extremely easy. If I return to Boston, then I will be staying here again.
