Melissa who oversees breakfast was absolutely wonderful. She’s the sweetest, most helpful person. The rooms are very nice and has everything you need for a long stay but we were there for only one night. Location was great - right off the freeway. It was a bit pricey and pet fee at the hotel was $75 but on the Marriott app it was $150 for a 1 night stay so that was strange. My only recommendation would be to upgrade the beds because it sank in the middle and my back hurt in the morning.

Loved our room; hotel upgraded our room & it was great— separate bedroom & living room w/kitchen, stove, pots/pans & plates & utensils. Everyone is friendly. Cheryl, the breakfast engineer was super friendly & gave us a little history lesson about Tehachapi. Tehachapi will always have a place in my heart. Will be back again for sure.

For a relatively new hotel, our room was laid out very poorly. The entry/kitchen area was very very narrow and the bathroom was too big for the space. The bathroom door opened right onto the bed making it difficult for anyone other than the person sleeping on that side of the bed to get into the bathroom and there was very little room to move around in the room. it was cramped and awkward . The public spaces of the hotel were nice and the breakfast was welcome, but we were very disappointed with the room itself.

The hotel is ok, but too expensive for what it is.

The photographs and the description of the room were completely deceiving. The photos make it look like the “kind size studio” is ,well, a studio with a separate area with a sofa bed, and a king size bed. In reality, the bed is a queen size bed, the room is tiny and the little sofa barely fits in the room. Since I was traveling with a friend, I called days before my stay to have the sofa bed made in the (nonexistent) “separate room”, and the sofa bed was not made the first night. One of us had to sleep on the tiny, extremely uncomfortable sofa. They made the sofa bed the second night, and we were not able to walk in the room. That’s how small it was. The breakfast was really bad too. Frozen bagels, a yoghurt that tasted like chemicals and a waffle that was impossible to eat.

We loved it. The large parking lot was clean and had plenty of space to park our large travel van. The building is beautiful with a large patio, good-sized fire pit, comfortable patio furniture, and two fancy grills. Inside was large with lots of places to sit to eat or visit, with several options. We liked the bar room style. The check-in girl was super nice and friendly, knew her job well, and we enjoyed her nice conversation. Our room was great. Comfy bed, nicely decorated with plenty of lights, towels, kitchen stuff, and desk area. The breakfast was THE BOMB. Loved the food and choices. We didn't use the gym or pool, but both looked really nice. It was a perfect stay. I can't think of anything that could have made it better. My cousin, who lives there in town, recommended it.

Zero. I have nothing to say. It was great, I'll stay there again every time I come to town.

All the staff were very accommodating for the whole two week stay! In particular cheryl on the breakfast team. She was just friendly and engaging every time I saw her. A real gem!
