The Crazy Water Hotel

Wish we had had more time. Historic property with great upgrades.

We get there for check in at 4:10 pm to be told they don’t have any rooms available yet. Mind you we have a wedding that we have to leave for by 5 pm

This is a beautiful hotel. My room was a small apartment with kitchenette, living area and separate bedroom. The ambience was very light and friendly. Two great restaurants and a coffee shop on the premises plus plenty of shops and a beauty salon.

We absolutely love the Crazy Water. Will stay again soon.

Great place

Room was over priced. The room smelled funky. Linens and furnishings were nice. Beds comfy. There was no kitchenette, frig, nothing. Two queen beds, TV and a bathroom. Street noise was bad but came with Grandkids for the Old Hotel experience, so was able to overlook some negatives. Employees need training. Extremely rude. Never greeted or even received a smile. They were going to charge $11 for a toothbrush at front desk. Even in the gift shop, where we spent $99+ , the lady taking inventory was rude. She made no eye contact or gestures that we were there. What happened to a Good Morning gesture? Girl who checked us out made no “did you find everything “, “Having a good stay”, nothing. We were in her way. Yes, I did try to make small talk, it’s called Texas friendly. Maybe we weren’t high society enough for them. Really sad our Grandkids had this experience to remember about the Crazy Water Hotel.

This is a restored, historic hotel in downtown Mineral Wells. Our room was spacious and clean and the bed was extremely comfortable. There are interesting shops in the spacious hotel lobby. The hotel was extremely quiet and restful. This place is great for an overnight or weekend getaway.

Quiet. Room had good space

This is a beautiful old hotel that has been remodeled, and I think is nicer than some newer hotels that I have stayed in. Seperate kitchen living area than the bath sleeping area. Excellent mattress and pillows, great night sleep. Fantastic shops and brewery on the ground floor.
