The room was so charming, it really made us feel like we were travelling to old Joseon times! The check-in process was smooth and easy, our host sent us plenty of recommendations on what to see and where to eat in Jeonju, they were really welcoming and kind! The location was perfect, right behind the main street with lots of cafes and restaurants. The room had all the facilities we needed for our stay. Highly recommended!

Location was near to the main street and places of interest. It was very convenient. Value for money. My younger children loved the loft concept. Clean toilets. Overall, pleasant experience.

There were cob webs at the top of the ceiling. Maybe because we stayed at the loft so we could see better. Otherwise, lower deck could only accommodate 3 adults. Not much space for luggage. Toilet bulb bursted on the first night. It was fixed on the 2nd day. Another day, wifi was down and the owner got it fixed. Not convenient if you need reception or concierge because the reception is at Gan Eun Chae I.

Our stay with GaEunChae 2 was very pleasant. The location was great and although a number of reviews said the walls were very thin and you could hear other guests, we didn't experience any problems. The room was basic but clean and it was nice to stay in a traditional Korean guest house. The neighbourhood was lovely.

The only comment we have is that the floor mattresses weren't very comfortable for old bones! The children didn't have the same issue!

Location was good

Condition of hanok was rather dusty. Toilet drainage had issues right from the beginning. However staff was rather responsive.

The house was very clean and quiet. The whole neighborhood was very quiet so we enjoyed our stay in this hanok since this is what we expected. The location is great, in the heart of the hanok village so you are in walking distance to everything you might want to visit. The host was very responsive and helped us with instructions even if we arrived very early.

Historical retreat located in the heart of JeonJu. A great experience for my children on the first visit to Korea.

Everything was as described and we enjoyed the entire experience of the stay.

A traditional style Hanok well located in the Jeonju Hanok village. Bathroom was modern and comfortable.

Very nice building. We had a room with a loft and it was quite spacious. The bathroom was nice and clean with Japanese style toilet. There was also Netflix!

The futon beds were really thin mats. Definitely not recommended unless you are young. The stairs to the loft were also very steep. The doorposts were low and we bumped our heads. Finally, there was only 1 small chair and 1 hard mat to sit on to watch TV. It was a great experience, but we were glad we only stayed for 2 nights.
