We had the family room which was spacious and comfortable. The “child’s” bed was a sofa bed which was fine for our adult daughter. The bathroom was clean and warm with underfloor heating.

The property is the upstairs of a modern home with a small common area and three bedrooms with en suite bathrooms. All are clean and comfortable, and Mary cooks a good made to order breakfast. There is also a pretty walking trail into the forest near the home. The local hotel serves solid Scottish food, and if you don’t mind a bit of a walk you can leave your car at the bed and breakfast. The town has an authentic highlands feel away from crowds of tourists.

There is a slight smoky smell if one is sensitive.
