Best Budget Inn

The rooms are comfortable and most have been recently renovated. The owners are the epitome of "Southern Hospitality." Since the hotel is located in downtown Bastrop, it is a short walk to shops and restaurants. Each room has a refrigerator and a large screen TV. Perfect for longer stays.

The hotel is very old but was close and cheap for an unexpected trip.

Some of the workers got into it with each other but other than that they were quick to help whenever I needed it

Showed up and they were under renovation and our construction workers didn't want to stay there. The front desk apologized for all the mess and said they'd happily refund the room. I asked Hotels.com for a refund and now they are denying the refund. Would not recommend.

I didn't like anything about it. Room smelled like bleach, floors were sticky, cigarette hole in comforter, sheets were stained, stains on shower curtain, handle on the shower fell off in my hand.

Nasty place I ever stayed, I payed for two nights and only stayed one. Cut my trip short and went home. I won't have stayed one night if it wasn't so late when we got there

Old, dirty, smelled.

Very rundown hotel. Handicap parking was near the actual rooms. Room was clean just not very updated.

Front desk is amazing. Mrs Tammy and the other lady are awesome!
