Best Budget Inn

The new owner has owned it little over a year. He is SUPER friendly and accommodating. We came to fish and he mentioned he had an extension cord we could use to keep our boat on charge. The price is on point , great location downtown Bastrop , La .

Location was perfect. Check in was great. Room was clean and bed’s comfortable.

More towels and wash clothes.

The motel was in a central location.

There was no smoke alarm. It had been ripped out of the wall and wires were hanging out. One of the mattresses was caved in on one side. The floor hadn't been cleaned and there were dirty boot prints on the floor. There was an ironing board, but no iron.

The check in clerk didnt speak english didnt know what she was doing. Then the bedspread was stained and the stain went all the way thru to the sheets did not sleep in that bed. There was a large crack under the door so cold air blew in all night. We didnt want to walk on the floors without shoes lots of dirt crumbs and sticky in some spots. Did not use shower at all it was simply disgusting. Never ever go back never ever suggest anyone even think about staying there!
