Chestertons Sokcho

These apartments are great for a family vacation with children — clean, tidy, and with comfortable beds. Cleaning is provided only for stays longer than 3 days. There’s a large pool that’s perfect for kids, the deepest 1.2m. Across the road, there’s a walking trail along the lake and a big supermarket. It takes 10min by car till Sokcho beach.

The downside is that cooking in the rooms is strictly prohibited — it’s only allowed in the shared kitchen located in another building.

Good location

The property is very dirty. I can't use the bathroom or shower. Additionally, we have to take out the trash to the first floor, which is quite uncomfortable.

훌륭하고 만족스럽습니다

모바일 체크인하고 들어간 객실에 머리카락하고 작은 쓰레기 조각이 곳곳에 있더이다.. 청소상태 너무최악이라, 사진 보여주니 죄송하다하고 룸을 다시 배정해주는데 그 과정도 오래 걸리고.. 다신 안가고 싶네요

직원분들 다 친절하십니다. 다만 관리인원 부족해서 룸컨디션은 복불복일수 있습니다만 요청하면 빠르게 대응해주십니다.

근래에 다녀본 숙소 중에 제일 편안하고 깨끗했어요. 부모님 모시고 다녀왔는데 부모님께서도 잠자리 편하고 넓다고 만족하셨습니다!

층간소음 너무 심해요. 그리고 수영장 물관리에 좀 더 신경써야할 것 같습니다. 지하1층인데 Lobby층이라고 하고...뭔가 시스템이 혼란스러웠어요.객실 수에 비해 엘레베이터 부족해보입니다. 장점은 새 건물이라서 깨끗하고 쾌적함. 사우나시설 좋습니다. 단 수온도 적절히 조절될 필요 있어보입니다. 미묘하게 불편한게 많은 숙소였어요.

The hotel seems new or, at the very least, newly remodeled. There is an outdoor pool which is free to use and very kid friendly. A sauna is in the basement, for a small fee, it is small but clean. They allow you to hang out on the rooftop, which is fantastic; it makes for wonderful nighttime views of the skyline. I would definitely stay again if I returned to Sokcho.
