Angle Adventures - 4 Bedroom Cottage - Angle

First impressions were good. Cosy snug with fire and the kitchen area was modern, light and airy with plenty of seating for the whole family. The patio area was great ideal for all the family and dogs. The location was brilliant within walking distance of the beach and two local pubs. We had a fabulous stay but there were some issues.

The bathrooms were not that clean. The en suite shower had mould and the shower tray was dirty. The downstairs bathroom was in need of some TLC and up grading. We opened the family bathroom window and disturbed a swarm of flies in fact every window we opened were full of flies as well as dead ones around the house and bedrooms. We used fly killer to rid us of the infestation but a lot return. whilst we understand that the house is near agricultural land and flies tend to be common this should have been checked before our arrival. The beds did not have mattress protectors. The garden was large and ideal for the dogs and children but there were electric, water and waste pipe exposed which were a trip hazard. The washing line was strung between two trees and not visible, again a hazard. With some some upgrading this house would be outstanding.

Great location, great facilities for all the family and such a lovely home from home - especially loved the fabulous dining table and kitchen area.

Everything is perfect ! I's our second staying in this house. Lovely, lovely place!

The location and the spacious bedrooms and bath rooms. Good outside garden space.

Furniture and fittings a little run down and shabby. It hadn’t been cleaned properly for our stay and the bed sheets had not been changed. There were empty drinks bottles left in the garden and cigarette butts left in the chiminea. The door handle to the living room was broken so we had to contact the property management - they sent somebody to come round and put things right and change the bed sheets. They left us two complimentary bottles of wine.

Nice cottage on the high street in Angle. Pretty well equipped.

No materials for fire lighting. Furniture a bit shabby.

my son stayed with his haiku since i couldn’t make it due to Covid. Her loved it so much he ended up staying two extra nights!

No mobile reception…but it have wifi!!

Spacious cottage, good location in village but close to beach, 3 big bathrooms, generally well equipped, has parking for 2 cars off street, big garden and outdoor spaces. Allows dogs.

Kitchen requires a coffee plunger and potato peeler!
