Frinton Escapes - The Cottage

We have stayed at the hosts other property twice but the cottage was a first for use. We were only staying overnight so were really pleased the cottage was available. It was much bigger than we expected, very clean, very comfortable bed and nice bathroom. The cottage was really cosy and my husband really loved it. Kitchen and dining room were really big. The cottage is near the train station, beach and in the middle of Frinton which was perfect for us. We would like to come back and stay longer as one night was not long enough. Beautifully furnished (the hosts have beautiful taste and the toiletries and milk and tea always help when you are rushed and travelling by train and can't carry much. We will definitely stay again when the cottage is available. Good efficient communication from our hosts as always. Thank you.

The front of the cottage has beautiful flowers and I know you must not block the road but a couple of chairs just outside that you could put back in the cupboard whatever time of the year would be nice. It's just nice to have a cup of tea outside even if its cold. Other than that the cottage was perfect.

Such a beautiful and comfortable cottage, a real home from home. A quiet location but close to the High Street, with plenty of shops and eateries. I’d recommend a bit of research though, pre booking for evening meals as everywhere was busy at the weekend. The British India was a fabulous find, great service and excellent food. We didn’t need to contact the hosts but they were readily available and gave gave great pre stay information.

The beds were Devine. So comfy. The tvs in the bedroom were lovely, just wish we’d had enough time to use them. All lovely
