"Great place to stay with friends or extended family with wonderful walks on the doorstep and several pubs and eateries w"

9.0

Great location, plenty of kitchen space and dining stuff. Separate toilets and showers for almost everyone made a big difference .

Only one car parking space was no problem, but needs to be made clear that the ample parking for any number of cars nearby is a pay and display car park.

"Great property but could do with some TLC."

7.0

Really comfy beds. Well equipped large kitchen. Plenty of shower rooms. Great location and fab to have a parking space.

It needs a deep clean and some maintenance. Showing signs of wear and tear now. Evidence of damp on walls and fabrics. Windows dirty inside and lots of cobwebs. En-suite toilet in main bedroom has small leak and floor shows damage. Sink unit damaged from historic water leak. One of the internal freezer doors has been smashed. Rugs need washing. Garden area could be much improved like the neighbours have done.

Well laid out. Great location in centre of lower Solva. Lots of restaurants nearby.

Little things. No soap in bathrooms. Paying for cleaning, but have to leave by 10 and clean up first .

"Very enjoyable"

9.0

Solva is a very nice place with easy access to many other locations. The cottage was nice and more than large enough to accommodate everyone.

Showers okay but water power not that great even when only one taken at a time. Appreciate that water system is old. Separate bathroom shower instructions could be a bit more clear. House instructions and written instructions on wall by boiler were confusing. Booklet states to switch on every time but on the wall it says don't switch off. Use of booster needs to be more clear. We did work it out though. A picture of the car parking outside the cottage would be useful as we were not sure where it was until arrival. The Garden by the car park - it is also not clear if this belongs to the cottage or not

"A noisy place with no onsite parking and poor in-room facilities. Spiders were crawling too"

3.0

I am not sure what I liked as the property didn't meet our expectation. One things that I liked that is the owner responded in messages at the least but then again, we got confirmation that the property has one onsite free parking but that was also blocked due to construction work. So the owner didn't know or intentionally provided miss-leading info? I asked several times about onsite parking as that was important for us but that too was incorrect. Additional we forget a small tool at property the owner/manager did sent it back free of cost locally, hence the 3 start.

1. There was spider webs all over the places and also spider were crawling, which made it difficult for our children who were a bit terrified. 2. The rooms were cold initially as most of the individual electric heater was turned off. And it was not easy to turn them on everywhere 3. Getting hot water was difficult and unpredictable. First night we got hot water but afterword's nothing. Kitchen hot water was not working, contacted host and did what he asked but still hot water was not available on last two days. 4. Properly listed with free parking but the free single car parking for a house of 8 people was not available due to construction works. We had to park in a public parking that was 2-3min walk away. Waling was not a problem but as it was raining most of the time, we got soaked and got cold&fever due to that. We would never booked it if no on site parking was available. We even confirmed this with host, he confirmed there is a single parking but to our surprise that was also blocked with construction work. 5. Place was too noisy during day time as builders were working next door and forced us to wake up early morning, which we wanted to avoid during holiday time. 6. I am feeling a bit guilty for giving so many negative points as this is the first time I am writing as such. Even my last property we stayed in Scotland about a month age I gave 10/10 ratings but this one I would not give more then 3.

"Peaceful stay"

9.0

Beautiful and peaceful location, property was very spacious and bright with everything required for our stay. Was pleasantly suprised to find all rooms had en-suite. Parking was enough for 2 cars, however couldn't park one night due to river breaking banks and flooding so parked in the harbour which wasn't an issue as this was free through the winter period. First night we had issues with one of the heaters in the bedroom not working but we called up about this and this was rectified very quickly by the owner who was able to put this on remotely from home. The kids loved all the puzzles and books available in the property. There is a smell of damp when first entering the property but this is to be expected for a property this old, once dehumidifier was on this became unnoticeable. Over all happy with our stay. Property was close to several local pubs and restaurants and lots of costal paths around the property.

Key to open door wasn't the best had to stand for ages wiggling key in lock to unlock and lock the door.

"Enjoyable relaxing trip filled with local music at the pubs and good food."

10.0

The smart decoration and facilities were brilliant. We both had en-suited and if we were a larger group we would have had yet more bathrooms. The heating was instant and luxury on a cold winter night. We also lit up the fire and enjoyed a cozy night chatting. Beds comfortable and clean. The locations in the Pembrookshire park so the walks are on the door step. And the seaside less than 5 mins away. The local Pubs had fun live music and with over 5 eateries on our doorstep we were spoilt for choice.

"Superb"

The grass in the garden was long and the fence was broken which meant we had to keep our dog on the lead in there as there were a lot of walkers with dogs passing and he wanted to run off. Also the two bins in the kitchen were too small.
