Crescent House

I can warmly recommend Cresent House. Rooms are beautiful, breakfast is delicious and the owners very friendly and helpful. Location is good as it is close to city center as well as landscape sights like the gardens. We sure enjoyed.

The property, “The Crescent Hotel” was very inviting. I especially liked the art and the furnishings. Additionally, the location was good because it allowed visitors to explore a more trendy area in Edinburgh - lots of restaurants, shops, and galleries. The hosts were very helpful and gracious!!

In a word, Crescent House was splendid. The place is impeccable, very comfortable, beautifully decorated, and the owners are great hosts. We spent five days during the Edinburgh Festivals and it felt like an oasis away from the crowds, but close enough to take a good walk into the action of the city. Highly recomended. We are experienced travelers and I can tell you this place is really a gem.

Would thoroughly recommend a stay at Crescent House. It is located a short walk from town with plenty of excellent restaurant options nearby. Crescent House is beautifully done up (our room felt luxurious) and Paul and Mike’s friendly and kind hospitality made us feel at home. Nothing was too much trouble and there were numerous touches that made our stay at Crescent House very comfortable and extra special (e.g. great recommendations, generous and plentiful breakfast options, etc). We look forward to our next stay.

I could not ask for a better place to stay in Edinburgh; amazing place, design and art everywhere, walking distance of all the places i went in my 7 day trip. Paul and Michael are the best hosts looking forward to give you the best experience at every moment. Definitely would stay again there when i return to Edinburgh

We stayed for my friends birthday, who has family in Edinburgh. This was my first time and Paul was great on entry to the guesthouse, orientating us to the house and facillities, signposting locations for us on arrival, and getting the most from our trip and what we wanted out of it. Mike was also great and very accommodating, it was lovely to see all the artwork he has created, and get to know them both. Bhudda breakfast was amazing! Beautiful room, lots of space to utilise, great facilities with clear instructions for use. Nothing was too much trouble, and we were made to feel very comfortable. Would certainly recommend and stay again

We had a lovely time at Crescent House. Our hosts were so attentive to every detail. The house is gorgeous and spotless, and the breakfast was generous and delicious.

Vi var på en dejlig miniferie i Edinburgh og havde 3 skønne overnatninger hos Michael og Paul i Cresent House. De var skønne ambassadører for Skotland og Edinburgh og skabte en skøn ramme for os besøgende. Vi kan på det varmeste anbefale Cresent House og hvis turen igen en dag tager os til Edinburgh, vil vi klart bo hos Paul og Michael igen.

Une guest house avec une décoration magnifique, un accueil très sympathique de Paul qui est d'une extrême gentillesse et aux petits soins, Michael est également très aimable mais j'ai eu plus affaire avec Paul. Ma chambre était spacieuse avec tout le confort et une jolie vue jusqu'au coucher du soleil. Le pdj etait copieux et servi dans une belle vaisselle. Je ne manquerai pas d'y retourner lors d'un prochain séjour à Edimbourg car j'en ai gardé un merveilleux souvenir.
