Design Hotel Kyoto Fuyacho

Great location, bright, clean, modern, spacious, nice rooftop & separate communal lounge area with plenty of complimentary amenities, coffee/tea & even a freezer of ice cream which was a thoughtful treat during hot summer weather.

Cozy, clean, room with friendly design. All the appliances, including the microwave and the super great washer-dryer, are well-functioned. The surroundings are quiet at night and lively during the day. There's a big supermarket just nearby and a few within a stone's throw. There's no staff in the hotel, but inquiries through email are quickly responded.

The hotel is located at least 450m away from any bus, train, kintetsu or metro station except the Kyoto Kawaramachi station on Hankyu Railway. The shower head is halfway out of the bathtub, making it difficult to take shower whether standing inside or outside the bathtub. What's worse, the head kept rotating itself uncontrollably. The capacity of the kettle should be increased.

Location, hospitality , vibe . Everything about he hotel was super . We just loved it.

Quiet, convenient location with lots of shopping and tourist area within walking distance. Room was quite, clean, and has nice amenities in room (free water, coffee, tea, toiletries) & lobby (bread, instant soup, coffee, ice cream). AC in tatami room area quite dusty and carpet wasn't very clean. Walls need new fresh coat of paint as there are many scuff marks & some dirt/stain. Elevator has rank smell.

Very well decorated, comfortable, great location, and the common room was a big plus (when we brought takeaway food it was great to eat here). Very helpful staff and within walking distance to all the shopping and food destinations.

We stayed 4 nights. It is conveniently located. Great amenities. The washing machine was very handy.

All good. No complaints.
