The location

The studio was very hot making it difficult to sleep on the first night and get ready for a wedding the next morning

The location is great for the town and the bed was very comfortable. Also a hot powerful shower.

As I said the actual shower was great but the controls are only just stuck to the wall and the cubicle sealant is a mess the bathroom needs replacing. This is a victorian building so I understand some of the problems. The sash window in the bedroom does not close so secondary upvc window has been very badly fitted there is nowhere for the locking mechanism to go so this also will not close. This apartment is advertised on booking.com as a superior apartment. I don't know who has looked at it?.

Towels in bathroom too small need to be proper bath towels. Doors a little tricky to get into. Noise from outside when pubs emptied.

Bright airy room with gt facilities. 5 minutes walk from station which made it great to travel to other areas. Hosts responded quickly to any queries.

Larger towels would have been nice but wouldn't stop.us staying again

Very central location near railway and bus stations and the centre of the town. Good communication from the property and was very helpful with requests. Spacious apartment. Very comfortable bed with very thick mattress and topper. Very clean

A bit short of plates and bowls - not enough for 2 - but was sorted out quickly. The flat above had a VERY noisy floor and unfortunately the occupant decided to keep walking around and put the radio/TV on at 4 am for about 20 minutes... a very poor night for us as a result, but not the fault of the property, other than an old house with poor sound insulation. A bit of noise from the adjacent street too.

The location was excellent. The room was like a prison cell. About a foot around each side of the bed. Poor quality mattress. No sink to wash dishes apart from the bathroom sink. Couldn't fill the kettle from the bathroom sink. Terrible stay. We stayed one night and then booked into Chapter two in Malton, which was a vast improvement.
