Casa Cook Samos - Adults only

Just got back from a really lovely week at this hotel in Samos. The transfer is 5 minutes so bear in mind how close you are to the airport ( literally next to the runway !) but as very few planes take off / land each day it’s not too bad tbh , there were some jets taking off a couple of times that were extremely loud but it only happened a couple of times and by no means ruined the holiday. Our room was very clean and very pleasant , except storage ! There are 10 coat hangars a very small amount of shelf space and that’s it , no drawers etc of any kind , I ended up having to keep underwear , bikinis , tops and cover up etc in my suitcase open on a seat , my point here would be if there’s enough room for me to do this then there’s enough room for a chest of drawers ? Also a massive area for a mini bar and fridge etc , which didn’t really contain much , no spirits or red wine , just white wine , cans of soda and some water , a couple of snacks and that’s about it , was a bit odd ! I will mention at this point that we stayed at Casa Cook Rhodes last July , the swim up room we had as far as outside space was better at this hotel I’d say , except the weird music that was playing at times ( and around the beach ), the same music was on in the mornings at the beach and it was I think supposed to be relaxing but was actually quite annoying at times , but not unbearable I guess . The breakfast at the Rhodes hotel was 1000 times better , the breakfast experience in Rhodes was not good at all , the “hot food” that you can help yourself to was not hot , it was not even lukewarm , i complained on first day , I watched as the waiter questioned the chef and she held her hands against the pots and argued it was hot , well if you can hold your hands against a hot pot I would argue they aren’t hot enough ?? I also tried the hot food a few days later was still cold so gave up on that. The omelettes you can order are passable ( depending on when it was made and how quickly it got brought over to you ) The worst part of breakfast was having trying to get orange juice and water , the waiting team had no organisational skills and seemed to be wondering around making no progress most of the time , the yoghurt , fresh fruit and cakes were all very good though with a very large selection. Lunch and dinner were very good we enjoyed these meals , food was delicious. The hotel itself was lovely chilled and very relaxing, we enjoyed a nice massage at the spa , the sunbeds on beach were very comfortable and it was easy to get a taxi into town every evening , there are plenty of places to eat in town , recommend Knife and Fork and Cena ! Do not expect any kind of nightlife at this hotel , after 9pm it is absolutely dead around the bar ( probably earlier ) it is definitely a place for a quiet romantic holiday, not a lively atmosphere at all . Overall we had a lovely time , take beach shoes and stoney beach but lovely to swim in ! Would recommend but they do need to sort breakfast out for certain!!

We had a wonderful stay and would happily come back. What really stood out was the staff. Everyone was genuinely friendly, helpful and always seemed to care that we were having a great experience. The food was consistently good, the facilities were well maintained and the overall atmosphere was relaxed and welcoming. Housekeeping was excellent and available several times a day if needed. The location is ok. Being right by the sea is a plus but a little bit to far away for a walk town (≈30 min). But a taxi for 9 euros made it easy to enjoy both quiet days at the hotel and evenings out. We stayed in a room with direct pool access, which was fantastic. The room was spacious, beautifully designed and the bed was comfortable. There are planes passing from time to time, but honestly, it was never much of an issue and quickly faded into the background. Overall this hotel offers excellent value for money. The combination of great service, a comfortable room and great food made our stay perfect. Highly recommended.

We are currently in a swim up suite which is really nice. Before we booked this hotel we emailed to enquire if they catered for vegans,their response was yes they had lots of options for vegans. Unfortunately this is not the case! Our first morning for breakfast was a huge disappointment and when we asked what indeed was suitable for vegan's we were informed that only the fruit and a yoghurt that was marked 'vegan ' nothing else was marked vegan. They have a whole long table piled with croissants,bread,6 varieties of cake,cookies and tray bakes,we again asked if anything on there was vegan and we were told NO. We mentioned our dismay to reception and they made a note of this ,we assured them we weren't complaining but for a hotel that claims to be a Wellness hotel it wasn't very good. 2nd morning and once again we enquired and were again told only yoghurt and fruit was suitable for vegan's, this time they got the chef from the kitchen who said nothing on the huge table of items was vegan. The choice we had was boiled potatoes with skin on, yoghurt and fruit (fruit was always melon) . We once again had to go to speak to reception ,Maria took us to the beach bar and asked what indeed was vegan for us and they assured us that the next morning would be better. 3rd morning we were told that the carrot cake was vegan and the semolina was too (these had been out each morning and not labelled as vegan and were told not vegan) . We have unfortunately been resigned to being very hungry and having to pay 20 euros to go into town to eat. They have failed to cater at all for us and still only the yoghurt is labelled vegan. My husband has been having boiled shriveled potatoes for breakfast each day and I have just had water melon . If you want bread/toast you have to specifically request this. They also do an a la carte menu for breakfast with an extra charge and it states VG = vegan however non of the options are vegan... Unfortunately we would not return and it has put us off visiting any other Casa cook hotels. Come on casa cook it's 2026 and you advertise as a Wellness hotel! Had we known your vegan option's would be so limited we would not have booked.

Everything was good. Everyone was incredibly kind and attentive. Maria especially captivated us with her wonderful energy

It was honestly one of the best hotels I’ve ever stayed at. Everything was amazing from the beautiful architecture of the hotel and the crystal-clear sea to the delicious food, complimentary drinks, and overall vibe of the place. The facility is super clean, really well-designed, and very relaxing. What really made the stay special was the staff. Everyone was so friendly, kind, and always smiling. They were helpful with everything and made us feel really welcome from the moment we arrived. Their energy and hospitality honestly made the whole experience unforgettable. Big thanks to all the staff for everything. I’d definetly recommend this hotel if you’re looking for a peaceful, chill, and really enjoyable holiday.
