Big Pool Friendly 2 bedroom 75 yards to Beach 2 Bedroom Home by RedAwning

First we made this reservation in May with hotels.com. Then a week before our stay we got a call from a 3rd party booking saying that we were double booked and that our reservation would be canceled. They offered us a different place with pictures. We reluctantly agree since we were a week from our scheduled vacation. As we get to South Padre Island we get to the location we noticed a van already parked in the condos driveway. We text the person we have been in contact with. He later says that we were in the wrong location and he gave us a different location. We got to this location and it was nice at first. Then we noticed the conditions of this place. Then we walked in. It was nice but noticed a few things that needed attention so we called the contact person. Jim texted us a few times until he stopped communication all together. SPI rentals was very disappointing and is not recommended for families. Maybe for college kids whom like to drink and party and really don’t care about hotel accommodations. We have never had a company change our condo so many times in one booking. We give it a 4 out of 10 stars. That’s only because we at least had a place to sleep in.
