Location was fine. In the heart of Anna Maria and one block from the beach. The beds were comfortable. The house exceptionally clean upon arrival. Host, caretaker and electrician all nice.

Very disappointed with the front walkway! Pavers were missing and it was an accident waiting to happen. Also no lights guiding us through the fence and into the backyard. In addition, the front door light had no bulb and it was very difficult to put in the door code. Many lamps indoors also were missing bulbs. I contacted the host, and he was very prompt in sending out repairmen but it was soon discovered that the breakers were broken and wiring needed to be redone. Also the overall yard needs some serious TLC and junk removed. The rat traps shouldn’t be blatantly visible but hidden or tucked behind lattice. This property has the potential to be a diamond in the rough but the owners seem remiss doing a thorough walk-through to address various concerns. It would not take much effort to add some creative touches and stock the kitchen with better pots and pans. Some Teflon pots should be removed.

Location.

No curtain/blind on bathroom window. No outdoor lighting. Blown lightbulbs. Lamp didn’t work in bedroom. Outlet too far from ac and you couldn’t plug ac in.

It was cute and fit our family well, with a kitchen and 2 bathrooms. loved the ceiling fan. Location was good.

1. We were never told we had to go through a back gate into a dark backyard in order to get to the door to the house. We wandered around in the dark in the driveway trying to find out how to enter! 2. The code we were given did not work. We had to call and we were given several different codes before one worked. All in the dark with our phone flashlight. 3. The layout of the living room isn't very welcoming. I would describe it as a very functional, but not conducive to hanging out and being social.

Property was in an excellent location! Less than one minute walk to the beach and within walking distance of several restaurants, bars and shops. Beach chairs provided. Streaming devices on all TV's (including bedrooms) was a plus. The amenities gift boxes in the bathrooms were great. Communication with the property owner was excellent. They were very responsive and proactive with communication from the time I booked until checkout. The property's website was very informative and provided lots of area information including restaurant recommendations etc.

The property could use a little work. There was no light bulb in the porch light so it was pitch black when we came home at night. Some of the kitchen cabinets/drawers were falling off their tracks. One of the bedroom doors had no door knob and door would not shut. Bedroom lamp on the nightstand was not plugged in and the cord would not reach a plug that was accessible so I could not use the lamp (an extension cord would have been helpful to plug in the lamp) It was a chilly weekend, so it would have been helpful to have instructions on how to use the gas fireplace and heater. (the provided remotes didn't seem to work. perhaps they needed batteries?) There were plenty of beach chairs however they were pretty run down and rusty. (they should not have been kept outside to rust in the rain).

I loved that it was steps away from seeing sunrise on the harbor and sunset on the ocean. Everything was pretty much perfect. Very quiet, peaceful and comfortable. Only downer was; there was a lot of construction on Gulf road (which is not owners fault).
