Maison Ligea

It was clean and comfortable and good location. The location was an easy 5 minute walk to the main old town square and an easy 10 min walk to the main ferry port (it does have stairs but they are going down, on the way back we got a shuttle to the main square so we didn’t need to walk up the stairs. We were also met out on the street when arriving so it was easy to find the parking and the place. The host was fantastic! Kept in contact with us the entire stay. Brought to our room a nice variety of food for breakfast . He also asked what we would like and on the second day made us eggs with bacon. They also have parking you can reserve. Would highly recommend!

Do jardim na frente do apartamento

Antonino var en fantastisk värd som tog väl hand om oss! Han var behjälplig med tips och råd kring sevärdheter och restauranger. Rummet var fräscht med bra aircondition och sängarna var sköna. I anslutningen till rummet fanns en privat trädgård där Antonino serverade oss förträffliga frukostar. Läget var också mycket bra. Återvänder vi till Sorrento bor vi gärna på Maison Ligea igen:)!

Egentligen inget men nämner att det var lite svårt att hitta till boendet. När vi väl hittat det var det mycket nära till allt!

Lovely room within a few minutes walk to the main area of Sorrento. Great host on call 24/7 if needed. Spotlessly clean and spacious. A really good breakfast was brought to the room each morning to eat in your own private garden outside which was a lovely touch. Would definitely recommend.

Maison Ligea está muy bien ubicado, tan sólo a 500metros de la estación del tren. La zona donde se encuentra el edificio es muy tranquila: la calle "Via degli Aranci" separa la parte más densa de la ciudad por lo que los ruidos y masas de gente quedan del otro lado. A pocos metros se encuentra una panadería que recomendamos mucho "Panificio Tenero e Croccante". El edificio es de fácil acceso y la habitación se encuentra en planta baja. Nuestra habitación fue la primera junto al acceso y nos gustó muchísimo. Amplio el espacio, cama grande, armario abierto, caja fuerte, nevera, hervidor y el gran protagonista: el jardín privado. Fue encantador desayunar allí. El baño completo funcionaba todo perfecto, agua caliente con buena presión. El desayuno increíble, bruschetta de tomate y albahaca super deliciosas!!! fruta, yogurt, productos de panadería (bollería) frescos. Por último, no menos importante, el host Tonino un diez! fue super atento, amable y gentil. Nos comentó sobre un tour a Positano, Amalfi y Ravello con chofer en una van y lo contratamos. En otra experiencia vivimos personalmente la espera de 2horas en Positano para volver a Sorrento ya que los buses públicos no paran porque están llenos y las paradas desbordadas. Contratar el tour + almuerzo fue una de las mejores cosas que hicimos en Sorrento, el chofer Antonio un diez!!! y la comodidad del transporte suma mucho en este tipo de viajes. La comida del restaurante en Ravello (Giuliana´s view - Via della Repubblica 13 Ravello) fue deliciosa, la recomiendo! Nosotros éramos 6 personas en el tour y todos optamos por el almuerzo, la pasamos muy bien.

Sólo dos cosas no nos gustaron; la iluminación de la habitación (por la noche era intensa y blanca) y el colchón (no era nada firme y el protector impermeable típico de IKEA quedaba grande por lo que se movía de lugar). Estas cosas son a gusto personal, entendemos que no restan al puntaje de la habitación.

We absolutely loved our stay - beautiful room, wonderful service and very good location. The excellent breakfasts were a highlight! We would definitely stay again if we were returning to Sorrento.

Excellent place to stay. Close to anywhere you’d need to go but in a quiet spot. Tonino is a great host and extremely helpful. His breakfasts are as the reviews all say, fantastic!
