epic setting, incredible staff.

Gated security, door keeper lives in property available immediately if you need anything. House keeping comes in daily to make your bed & clean room. Very friendly and beautiful property/private vineyard & pool. I traveled with my 2 kids for a destination wedding and had not been past the border in 20 years. I was a little afraid of the drive in my sons new Raptor & was pleasantly surprised at the extremely easy, safe drive on the toll roads & beach views thru out the drive on the Pacific Coast Highway. Also had global entry and on our way back to US a 15 minute wait to cross the border! Wow! For sure coming back! Ps: I forgot hair tools and drove back within days and host was very helpful in returning my items.

We've stayed in Valle de Guadalupe numerous times, but this was our first time staying at Alma Liebre Viñedos del Valle, and I must say, it far surpassed all other accommodations we've previously stayed in. It feels like a private estate set amongst a vineyard. It was peaceful, tranquil, beautiful, well-designed and furnished, and the pool area is absolutely lovely. We will definitely be staying here on our next trip down to Valle.

Stunning location and setting. The rooms were very nice and the beds were super comfortable. The common areas- pool, bocce ball court and vineyard were beautiful and we enjoyed being outside so much. We weren’t aware when booking that housekeeping is included which was a big plus. It felt more like a serviced resort vs a home rental. Very high end. We would love to come back with friends and use the whole property!

We were not aware that the 3 bedroom villa does not have an indoor family room or any connection between the rooms. It is three rooms which each open to the outside and an outdoor table area. We were with our 3 kids so this would have been nice to know but it worked fine. We were really cold in the evenings and were provided fire wood which was great, but again it would have been nice to know what to expect. The kitchen was nice but limited (no paper towels or hand towels and we had to ask for these.) We loved it would definitely stay again!

We love honey bees, but they seemed to be swarming in and around our bedroom. Coffee maker didn’t really work. Property hard to find, no signs.

The property is gorgeous and the rooms were spacious. Everything was cute and aesthetic. I highly recommend during warmer weather to enjoy the outdoor areas including the pool.

This property is definitely better in warm weather. All of the communal spots are outdoors and are beautiful but it was too cold to enjoy which makes it difficult to hang out with your companions. The rooms also were very cold and the space heaters did little to solve that. The other thins that could have improved were check in directions. We arrived to a locked gate with no guidance on calling or what the code was - this could have easily been shared with us beforehand.

I've stayed at a number of properties in the Valle and this property is lovely. The design is beautiful, the property is beautifully maintained and private, and the rooms were very comfortable. We visited in December so it was too cold to use the pool and outdoor areas in the evening but it just makes me want to come back in warmer weather with enough people to fill all 6 rooms on the property and enjoy the outdoor areas of the property--the pool, the outdoor kitchen and plancha, the bocce court and volleyball area.

It was unclear that the Villa did not have an indoor living room space. The photos are all accurate but it isn't always clear what photos go with what structure. Both villas have kitchens but only the Deluxe Villa has an indoor living space (and it's VERY nice). Not an issue when the evenings are warm but something to keep in mind when booking in the winter. The rooms in the Villa are not soundproof so you will hear voices from adjacent rooms (not an issue for us since we were family), barking dogs at night (common in the Valle) and olive trees brushing the building loudly when windy.
