The location and cleanliness of the place was great. Customer service is exceptional.

It was terrible, everything in the room was missing everything for personal hygiene. there was no breakfast at all

We had a nice stay. The Staff was courteous and helpful. It was very clean and comfortable

Property was old and very outdated. We did not realize we needed to notify for daily room service. When we asked for clean towels, we were made to feel like an inconvenience, but were delivered within 5 min. Air conditioner blew right on our heads. Pillows paper thin. Shower tiny like a phone booth with very low fixture. Toilet was miniature and very low height. Upside: Room was clean, but very small and crowded. We had booked king bed but were given 2 queens.

Room was nice and clean location was perfect.

Loud ac unit

This is an older motel, and “you get what you pay for.” The American Inn was the best deal we could find in Elko. The host was friendly, the room was quiet and clean, and the beds were very comfortable. Water leaked out of both taps in the bathroom sink when using hot or cold water, which I think could be fairly easily fixed by cleaning the aeriators. We just kept a washcloth around the taps to soak up the leaking water. The continental breakfast was a bit of a disappointment, with only a few selections (one type of cold cereal, yogurt, very small muffins, apples, bananas, juice) and a coffee machine that could be updated. However, we were very grateful for how quiet our room was. We slept well!
